Help Save the Great Big Telescope (GBT)

On August 16, 2012, the National Science Foundation released a report on its plans for publicly funded ground-based astronomy, “Advancing Astronomy in the Coming Decade: Opportunities and Challenges”. This report, a reaction to the concern over the government’s debt, recommends that the NSF defund several observatories which are nearly household names to astronomers, including Green Bank! If you think that's a bad idea, please sign this petition!
