CALL FOR PAPERS ~ 2014 SARA Annual Conference

The Society of Amateur Radio Astronomers (SARA) solicits papers for presentation at its 2014 Annual Conference to be held 29 June - 4 July 2014.

Sunday 29 June, will start with an introduction to Radio Astronomy at the Science Center classroom, followed by learning to operate the forty foot radio telescope (1,420 MHz (21 cm). Presentations by SARA members and guests on Monday and Tuesday. a High Tech tour of the NRAO facility will be conducted on Tuesday 1 July.

Papers are welcome on subjects directly related to radio astronomy including hardware, software, education and tutorials, research strategies, observations and data collection and philosophy. SARA members and supporters wishing to present a paper should email a letter of intent, including a proposed title and abstract to the conference coordinator at vicepres@radio-astronomy.org no later than 15 April 2014. Draft of papers are due 30 April and final versions of the papers due no later than 15 May Be sure to include your full name, affiliation, postal address, and email address, and indicate your willingness to attend the conference to present your paper. Submitters will receive an email response, typically within one week.
