Remembering Diana Lichtman
I thank you for letting me speak freely. We are close enough, I feel I can share my thoughts
I am sorry that I could not be with you this year, due to the passing of my wonderful wife, Diana on May 26th. We would have been married 22 years this coming July 14th. She was only 57 years old and was a true gift from the Lord Jesus. A tireless servant to all who needed help. I was blessed by God to have let me to take care of her. I knew her since 1974.
Diana and her identical twin sister were not blessed with excellent health, but that strong Irish woman would be up assisting her sister or others, even if the pain of Fibro Myalgia or exhaustion were trying to hold her down. Nothing held her back. That morning she told me as I left for work, "Jeff, I wish someone would find a cure for this pain." Jesus heard her as well that day. He took her home and healed her pain and suffering. I came home and she was gone.
Diana also led myself, our son Alan and daughter Karen to the Lord. Yup, I'm a Messianic Jew, Who knew? LOL!
I also want to thank you all for the kind words and emails from all over the world. I never knew that I had so many people who cared and considered me as their friend.
I apologize for the sad words and, the thoughts and ramblings of a nearly old radio astronomer.
I also want to thank you for the dedication of this meeting to Diana and her memory. You are all true friends! I also thank you for the beautiful flowers for her memorial service.
